We craft our Dominio de ARVS White using Viura grapes from our vineyards in Rioja Alta, over 30 years old, rooted in clay-limestone soils which—together with the Atlantic climate—allow us to obtain a white wine that is ideal for food pairing.
Harvesting is carried out by hand during the first weeks of September, always in the early morning so the grapes arrive at the winery at the lowest possible temperature.
Viticulture: Vineyards over 30 years old located in Rioja Alta.
Grape Variety: Viura.
Yield: 7,500 kg/ha.
Winemaking: The grapes are pressed upon arrival at the winery. Static cold settling is then carried out, followed by racking into stainless steel tanks. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at an average temperature of 19 ºC.
Once alcoholic fermentation is complete, the wine is aged on its lees with weekly stirring for approximately two months. Finally, the wine is racked off its lees and bottled.
Bottle Aging: Minimum of 2 months.
TASTING NOTES:
- Color: Pale yellow.
- Aromas: Tropical fruit (pineapple) with citrus notes and freshly cut grass.
- Palate: Full-bodied and flavorful, with good fruity character and well-integrated oak.
Serving Temperature: 12–14 ºC.
Food Pairing: This white wine is perfect with all kinds of fish and rice dishes.
